Appart‘s Sculpture Trail at Prior’s Field is set up.

Final preparations are underway for the design of the AppArt Sculpture Trail at Prior’s Field School, Godalming. Artists will be installing their sculptures in the attractive Gertrude Jeykle inspired garden on Sunday 13th March. The trail will be approximately 90 large sculptures that will be placed on a trail that leads from the front of the school through to two areas of formal gardens. This includes a rose garden and an more open area of grass and trees. There are numerous paths and borders that will feature the varied works, a few of which can be seen in the gallery below.

The Trail will open to pupils and staff from the school on Monday 14th March and continue until the end of their term on the 23rd March. Other local schools have been invited to visit and AppArt is providing catalogues and worksheets for the young visitors.

The Trail will reopen with the main indoor exhibition on Saturday 2nd April and continue every day from 10 am to 4 pm until Saturday 16th April. Admission is free and all are welcome.
