Publicity for AppArt‘s Easter Exhibition & Sculpture Trail at Prior’s Field is in full swing.

Publicity preparations for AppArt’s Easter Exhibition got underway in December and January. Crown, our design and print partners produced flyers, posters advertisements and banners. The banner feature Carlos Dare’s sitting foxes and one is already in place at the entrance to Prior’s Field School and another will appear at a key point in Godalming nearer the opening. The distinctive yellow AA signs have been ordered and will guide visitors from the A3 and the town centre to the exhibition.

Advertisements have been placed in local magazines including all five editions of Vantage Point, which will be delivered by post to over 100,000 Surrey homes. Life in Haslemere and Farnham will carry advertisements and articles on some of the local artists exhibiting and they have started to be published.

On line information is appearing on influential sites such as Arts in Guildford and there is a steady flow of information on our Facebook and Twitter accounts which is being shared by artists and reaching an even wider audience. I am in the process of sending out newsletters to key groups such as our regular clients and updates for the artists taking part. The first newsletter, which included a few of the artworks to feature in the exhibition, has already resulted in one substantial sale.

Invitations to the opening and the private view will go out in the next two weeks and nearer the time we hope to get coverage of the event in local newspapers and on radio.
